Overview

Search Signal Optimizer is an Easy Traffic Systems plugin designed to help WordPress site owners discover search opportunities, organize keyword ideas, evaluate topical direction, and support content planning workflows.

SSO is not intended to replace editorial judgment. It helps identify useful search signals that can guide article planning, topical authority development, FAQ strategy, and publishing decisions.

ETS ecosystem role: Search Signal Optimizer supports topic and keyword discovery. ETS-Core manages licensing and broker access. SmartTopicPro, QuestionMagnetPro, SmartSchemaPro, Dynamic Image SEO Pro, and TrafficSignal Lite can then support the broader publishing and visibility workflow.

Requirements

Search Signal Optimizer is built for WordPress websites using the Easy Traffic Systems licensing model.

Requirement	Details
WordPress	A current WordPress installation with administrator access.
PHP	A modern PHP version supported by your WordPress host.
ETS-Core	Required for centralized license activation, entitlement validation, and broker-controlled AI access.
License Key	A valid Easy Traffic Systems license key with Search Signal Optimizer entitlement.
Admin Access	You must be logged in as a WordPress administrator to install and configure the plugin.

Important: Search Signal Optimizer does not use a separate standalone license key screen. License activation is handled through ETS-Core.

Installation

Install Search Signal Optimizer the same way you install other WordPress plugins.

Step 1: Install ETS-Core

Before using Search Signal Optimizer, install and activate ETS-Core. ETS-Core is the required licensing and broker foundation for the Easy Traffic Systems ecosystem.

Step 2: Install Search Signal Optimizer

Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
Go to Plugins → Add New.
Click Upload Plugin.
Select the Search Signal Optimizer ZIP file.
Click Install Now.
Click Activate Plugin.

Step 3: Confirm the Dashboard Loads

After activation, open the Search Signal Optimizer dashboard from the WordPress admin menu. If ETS-Core is installed and licensed correctly, the plugin dashboard should load normally.

ETS-Core Licensing

Search Signal Optimizer uses the centralized Easy Traffic Systems licensing model. Customers enter one license key in ETS-Core. Individual ETS plugins do not require separate license key entry.

How Licensing Works

Install and activate ETS-Core.
Enter your Easy Traffic Systems license key inside ETS-Core.
ETS-Core validates the license.
ETS-Core checks which products are included with your license.
Search Signal Optimizer unlocks if your license includes SSO entitlement.

Certified licensing model: ETS-Core owns license activation. Search Signal Optimizer checks ETS-Core status and product entitlement before premium actions run.

If SSO Is Not Entitled

If your ETS-Core license is active but does not include Search Signal Optimizer, the plugin may display a licensing notice or block premium actions until your license includes SSO entitlement.

The Search Signal Optimizer dashboard is the main control area for generating search signals, reviewing keyword opportunities, checking licensing, and viewing diagnostics.

SignalGuard Authority Protection is designed to help reduce duplication and protect topical clarity across generated search signals. It helps identify repeated phrases, overly similar ideas, and keyword patterns that may already be present or previously generated.

How to Generate Search Signals

Open the SSO dashboard.
Enter a topic, keyword, niche, audience, or content direction.
Select a research mode.
Run the generation process.
Review the generated phrases and opportunities.

What Makes a Strong Search Signal?

Editorial review required: Search signals should be reviewed before use. Do not build content blindly from generated phrases without checking relevance and intent.

Research Modes

Search Signal Optimizer may include different research modes to help control how broad or focused the generated opportunities should be.

Strict Mode

Strict Mode is best when you want tighter, more focused keyword phrases that stay close to the original topic. Use this for narrow niches, existing content clusters, or focused article planning.

Balanced Mode

Expansion Mode

License Is Active But SSO Still Shows a Notice

Confirm the product entitlement includes Search Signal Optimizer.
Refresh the ETS-Core license status.
Check whether the site activation limit has been reached.
